The room was comfortable and clean, with cozy beds and a nice selection of pillows. the location next to the docks and local restaurants like Skipper's and Sharky's was unbeatable for a city break. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations. the highlight was definitely the convenient proximity to the waterfront restaurants where we enjoyed two lovely dinners with great views. the hotel's aesthetics, with its tropical old school Florida feel and lush lagoons filled with marine life, added a unique touch to the stay. Despite the lovely pools, Tiki Bar, and proximity to attractions like John Pennekamp State Park, the property is in need of some renovation and improvement. Overall, Holiday Inn Key Largo is a decent choice for those seeking a comfortable stay near the Everglades and Keys, but don't expect anything extraordinary.
